EHS Week
It was Vishay Semiconductor's Environment, Health and Safety Week. There were some events and activities going on in the plant for 2 days only,21-22 Sep), like blood donation drive, seminars, exhibition.
I gotta attend 2 seminars but I went for 3 hehehe. Coz supervisor was on business trip plus I have finished up all my work being assigned. First seminar was about environment management. Soo sleepy…eyes couldn't open, luckily I din watch the whole MU vs Liverpool match the night before, I only managed to catch the first half then went back to bed coz I kept falling asleep on the couch. ( However I did witness the fist MU goal by Silvestre lar, hehehehe :p ) By the way, Welcome Back, Rio !!
Second seminar was in the afternoon. Topic was 'heart disease and diabetes melitus' by Dr.Shankar from Southern Hospital. Interesting talk :) The next day's seminar was about fire safety at home by one bomba fella. Each talk lasted around 1 hour 15 mins.
In conjunction of the Environment, Health and Safety week, each staff was given a digital thermometer. I got one too :P Ok now, shall we proceed with food..one of my fave thing to blog about kekeke. Erm for the opening ceremony, I was asked to go help around at the lobby. Didn't do much also coz nobody needed my help I guess. The GM said hi to me but I din know who he was, of coz I smile back. The GM was supposed to launch the Health and Safety week, I then asked one of the staff which is the GM, then she said he was the one who said hi to me. Ish paiseh…VIP pun tak kenal hahaha:)
Then I was also to make sure that the refreshment was served on the table after the opening ceremony. Most importantly is….to make sure I eat too, wahahahaha :)) Ala, small reward for helping around mar kekekee.
Oh yeah, Glenn, u asked me yesterday morning,whether got free food or not. I said no right….but later in the afternoon there was. Small piece of cheese cake and a curripuff, all were from the production meeting...can say leftover lar. Nobody seems to care, as long as got food, we all will share them lar..:P

Makan Makan Makan!
All the company's executives including my supervisor went for some " Mass comm training program" at A' Famosa today. So it's party time man! Wahahaha :)) It's now 4.20pm. Very free coz I have finished up my work,kekeke :P
We went out for lunch juz now. A lunch treat by a staff from another department at Melaka Baru's KFC. Before that, we wanted to go to secret recipe for its TomYam coz they said it's very nice woh. Then we happened to bump into the guys at the car park u know. So they said they gonna eat at KFC, so my collegue went " you belanja ar? you belanja i pigi lar " At first, I din know the guy is going to belanja, I thought everybody was juz joking around..mana tau he really did. And then, food lover like me (ahem) for sure ate faster than usual. You know lar...all these time I eat very slow wan. But now eating with others woh..surely kena cepat lar ("fast or finish") Hehehe...ish ish :P
After makan, we hanged out at Tesco for around 1 hour. My collegue bought 6 small boxes of ice-cream..you know like those 6 in a pack one? Yeah...and another one bought a pack of roasted chestnuts, brought them all back to the office and eat lor. Hahaha celebration for not having all the executives and managers in the plant, i suppose kekeke :P
Never expect all these to happen before. So many belanja-ing here and there, food sharing (cendol, mooncakes, hampers..) Yesterday the canteen got extra fish and chips (dunno for wat function or events lar), so we asked the canteen guy to bring them for us. Best lar~ If collegue went outstation for business trip, might get some souvenirs from them too. Get some chocolates a few days back ( left on my desk when i was out, balik je jumpa chocolates ) Hehehe...
Maybe I sounded a bit 'jakun' lar...but the thing is, I never know can get so many things to eat at the workplace mar..wahahaha :) New experience!
Okla...will blog again if got summore food next time, kidding lar...*DUH* There's no free meal in the world...nothing is free. Give and Take..a very famous and important phrase! Hehehe...ciao~

So they said they gonna eat at KFC, so my collegue went " you belanja ar? you belanja i pigi lar " At first, I din know the guy is going to belanja, I thought everybody was juz joking around..mana tau he really did. And then, food lover like me (ahem) for sure ate faster than usual. You know lar...all these time I eat very slow wan. But now eating with others woh..surely kena cepat lar ("fast or finish") Hehehe...ish ish :P
After makan, we hanged out at Tesco for around 1 hour. My collegue bought 6 small boxes of ice-cream..you know like those 6 in a pack one? Yeah...and another one bought a pack of roasted chestnuts, brought them all back to the office and eat lor. Hahaha celebration for not having all the executives and managers in the plant, i suppose kekeke :P
Never expect all these to happen before. So many belanja-ing here and there, food sharing (cendol, mooncakes, hampers..) Yesterday the canteen got extra fish and chips (dunno for wat function or events lar), so we asked the canteen guy to bring them for us. Best lar~ If collegue went outstation for business trip, might get some souvenirs from them too. Get some chocolates a few days back ( left on my desk when i was out, balik je jumpa chocolates ) Hehehe...
Maybe I sounded a bit 'jakun' lar...but the thing is, I never know can get so many things to eat at the workplace mar..wahahaha :) New experience!
Okla...will blog again if got summore food next time, kidding lar...*DUH* There's no free meal in the world...nothing is free. Give and Take..a very famous and important phrase! Hehehe...ciao~

Countdown :)
Haven't seen my classmates since the last final paper. How r u ppl getting on ? It has been 3 weeks huh! 10 more training weeks to go…I already can't wait to meet up with those of you who went back to your hometown to work. Also, I'm looking forward to go back to school. For those in malacca, say wanna yamcha one? Hehehee…Is anybody organizing?

New Sem Tomorrow
Tomorrow will be the start of my industrial training. I'm not really ready and prepared for it actually :( For me, finals only ended on the 28th Aug and now I gotta start my new sem after not more than ermm…3 days. Ish !! No holiday at all..sighh :(((
Very nervous lar..dunno why coz this is not my first time working also. Actually can say 3rd time already,but still…! Maybe it's becoz I know nobody there.Hate to go thru that socialization phase again..Juz hope that people there are friendly and dun treat me invisible man. No idea wat to expect..Btw I have never worked as long as 3 months before, the most was only 2 months and a few days only. Studying is better than working I tell u.
Oh ya, to those who dunno wat the name of the company is, it's Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Yup, and it's situated in Krubong. Not very far away from where I live..around 10 to 15 mins drive can reach lar. Anybody who wanna come meet me or bring me out for lunch,hahahaLOL, Vishay has green roof and it's on the right side of the road..
I am still scared lar…and dunno wat to wear exactly, formal? Informal? Ish ish…Okla, stop here. Update ya with wat happen at work tomorrow :)
